Welcome to This Week’s Brackets Extension Updates, Issue 14/35.

This week there were 6 new Extension and 27 updates. This includes themes and other extensions.

There were a lot of ups and downs in the theme category last week. 6 new themes and some movements in the ranking. This is cool to see that the Brackets users are passionate about theming their favorite editing tool (that’s my assumption ;-)).

@aminullah was asking, why I’ve missed his extension and that was the reason to investigate. My apologies for missing any of your updated or added Extensions in the past. I figured out that I made a mistake when specifying the timespan for the data collection to compile the data. There was a gap of an hour. Everything that has been updated or added in the registry during this hour was missing. I have changed it, so that the timespan for the weekly update is now from Sunday at 02:00:01 am to next Sunday 02:00:00 am. There is now a 1 second gap, but this should lower the risk of missing an important addition or update.

Now enjoy the data.

BTW: There is no Brackets Weekly Episode this week. We are all pretty busy with the upcoming Brackets Release 0.43 and a lot of other work related to the Brackets 1.0 Release.

The best part of it is that if you want to write some words again and again, just go to Help > Show Extensions Folder. Once folder opens up, open folder user > brackets-php-syntax-hint. There you will get php-syntax.txt, open that file and go on adding syntax and words you require and reload Brackets to enjoy writing codes(words you have added). They will appear in the dropdown as HINT, press ENTER and that is done.
